I, on the other hand, thought it was dead. As soon as I found out SOE was dropping the game, I immediately began searching for private servers -- since they're so abundant for other (read: shitty) games. Sadly, I did not find anything.

It was only by chance that I came about this project yesterday and I was overjoyed! Even just getting to hear the woosh of the login screen appear put a smile on my face.

Agreed. When I fired up the launcher and heard the "Whoosh" as the matrix code rendered the launcher on my desktop it put a huge grin on my face. It also woke my girlfriend up who immediately went, "IS THAT MXO!? THEY BROUGHT IT BACK?!"

My only reply was, "Yes, it is...yes, they did..." Smile

Near the end, I was in both Familia Grigori and The Trust on Recursion... FG had 5 regular playing women, and The Trust had like 4 or 5...

Maybe I just know where to hang out on Recursion. :-D
