I am unsure why there is hostility in both forums, I don't feel there is any need. So he is complaining about a forum on another forum and the other way around or what ever, does it truly matter? He needs help, lets keep it to "helping" and less about pissing contests or "my daddy's tv is bigger than your daddy's" thing.

I know, and I think that we should do our best to keep the drama to a minimum, but also...
You can movie monkeys into a different habitat at the zoo, but that still won't stop them from touching themselves in front of your children. Just saying.

Just for the record: I happen to have exactly the same problem and I really want to get it solved. Everything worked perfectly for me on Vista 64 bit, but now that I switched to 7 (64 bit as well) the client keeps "unexpectedly losing connection to the margin server"...

Having the same problem over here for a week or two now.. us ing appserv btw.
changed nothing, i have two seperate folders for the testserver and the standalone.
worked fine, for a couple of weeks so beats me..
