Heh, so last week I won a jiu jitsu tournament and they ran out of awards. I just got mine in the mail today.

I was supposed to get a medal but they sent me this samurai sword instead!

how long have you been training Jiu Jitsu? i train the Hyastan grappling system out here in california, im an orange belt at the moment
but can tap black belts out deadly.

Since September. I been learning from friends, the Karate school in town and youtube. My background is in wrestling, so I rely on that for conditioning and such.

I'm thinking of learning Karate, do you feel at first like a total twonk been my age? (25 this year) when all the others are much younger, or do they stick ya in a group around your age?

dont worry about your age a buddy of mine started mixed martial arts at 28 and currently is a blue belt in Hayastan (at 33) martial arts will make you sore but it will keep you physically young for years and years. if your going into Karate, Shotakon is personally my favorite form it has a great use of power and counter striking.
